Gents.
Last weekend I dragged my over-tired, over-car-ridden family across the terrain of what will be our IMMOO course. I will be honest -- there were moments of relief, moments of terror and moments of confusion. At the end of the day I determined I will withhold judgment until I see the course from the hoods of a Kestrel - but something I hope to do soon.
This will be good.

I can taste it....
Who's in for the training weekend???
Who will be my huckleberry?
From what I hear, definitely enough hills, but small enough to be fair.
I am a definite maybe on training weekend. I may have some altitude training that may take up too much time off for me. I hope to have a good idea soon.
First off - impressed by the altitude training, Kate, nice work.
Second - when is WIBA weekend? I just tried to search it but could not find. I'm afraid it is the same weekend (6/27) of my sister's 40th and we will be in Denver.
I really want to do this and think it would be a great weekend - could the Gilbs don a speedo, then act as the team support vehicle?
WEBA is the weekend of the 27th.
We can always pick a different weekend to go out and ride the course together, we don't have to do the WEBA deal.
BUT, I am going to ride the course before the big day, and if schedules don't work for us to do it together I'd like to go to WEBA.
So, how does July and August look for people? Can we plan our own weekend training camp or what?
Yes, I would for sure be in for the swim, and I will for sure be the support vehicle. That would be really fun I think. Running may be off, because although I'm bootless and crutchless, I'm still having quite a bit of trouble walking around over longer distances (couple hundred yards), let alone running. The only weekends that are bad for me in July or August are the weekend of the 4th of July, and the weekend of August 22 - 24th (tracy's birthday).
www.throughth3wall.com for WIBA, I think it may be full.
Two. July 13 is no go for Ace and I, Rhode Island 70.3. I doubt 4th of July is good for anyone.
6/14 is also Liberty 70.3 for the MN crew. Looks like a weekend in August would be the thing.
BTW, didn't know you guys were doing RI 70.3. Very cool.
