Aloha Mr. Spencer...

Well, we got no choice

All the girls and boys

Makin' all that noise

Cause they found new toys

Well, we can't salute ya

Can't find a flag If that don't suit ya

That's a drag

School's out for summer

School's out forever

School's been blown to pieces

No more pencils

No more books

No more teacher's dirty looks

Well, we got no class

And we got no principals

And we got no innocence

We can't even think of a word that rhymes

School's out for summer

School's out forever

My school's been blown to pieces

No more pencils

No more books

No more teacher's dirty looks

Out for summer

Out till fall

We might not come back at all

School's out forever

School's out for summe

rSchool's out with fever

School's out completely

Congrats man. It definitely will help you training wise for the next two months, to be able to train in the morn and take a nap before picking up the kids.

Because this guy is completely sick of leaving when it is dark out, busting my ass until 7-7:30 dealing with a banking crisis at day, riding home through DC traffic, to walk into Fisch.

I remembered the days when I could stay up past 8:45. I am near collapse by that time. Of course, Fisch goes to bed at 8:30 so I get 15 minutes of me time.

It is a big training week and I am on the verge of a mental and physical breakdown. Is anyone else feel the same way?

even if you don't, just tell me you do because doubts are beginning to creep into my mind this week, for the first time I don't know if I can do this.

Stay strong my man. We knew there were going to be ups and downs. I've had some doubts too. Ironically they seem to be the worst after a good workout. The longest ride I've done so far is 53 miles and do you think there was any satisfaction after that ride? No way. My thoughts were, there's no way I could pedal another 53 and then do a marathon. But we can, and will. It's all mental.

When we originally started this blog, we had intended to be there for each other during times like this. I guarantee everyone is feeling the same way Jack, so you're not alone. I've got faith in you my man.

There will be some dark hours coming in the next couple of months - the best thing we can do is share them (as well as the positive).

I spoke to John J. yesterday and he said something that kind of rang with me: "Isn't it great when you completely dedicate yourself to something. To watch your body change, see the transition as you work towards a goal."
