Ran across my first ever Triathlon results today posted on the web. This was funny to see. It was Lifetime Olympic 2002. Check it out.

Jack's Mix

OK, I will start it off, here is a sample of mix that Jack would listen to. Keep in mind that we all have varied music tastes, so if you don't like it, don't buy it, but lets keep potshots to a minimum. So this is a mix that I would listen to, and if anyone puts Queen- we will rock you or U2- Beautiful Day, all bets are off about no criticism.
Banger- G Love
Rat Race- The Gift of Gab
Epro- Beck
My Paper Heart- The All American Rejects
Fall Back Down-Rancid
Such Great Heights- The Postal Service
That Sound- Ohmega Watts
Far Behind- Social Distortion
Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now- The Starting Line
Excellent- Blackilcious
Hey Driver- Lucky Boys Confusion
Get Off This- Cracker (Oldie but goodie)
Callin Out Remix- Lyrics Born
Almost- Bowling for Soup
Lights and Sounds- Yellow Card
The Hand that Feeds- NIN
I'm not okay- My Chemical Romance
The good life- Weezer
I finish every workout with those two songs, always have, always will.
flip turns
I know this is last on peoples list of things to accomplish right now, but this really helped me quite a bit.

Need to get outside...

Well, I have been on the trainer since November, and I can't stand it much anymore. Therefore, Kate and I have decided for my training, we will have to move to a more temperate climate. This house looked pretty nice, so we thought we would give this place a try.
Yes folks, the Kaufmans are heading to the nations capital for a little while. I really didn't want to tell you guys this way, but with our wives having drinks tonight, I know that she would have let it out anyways.
While my position is permanent in DC, we are expecting this to be a 2-5 year move. We still want Fisch to grow up in MN, but we figured this was the one window of time that if we could move for a little bit, it would be now.
We are very excited and scared right now. This could be great, or it could completely backfire in many ways. I know I will like the work that I will be doing, but living in DC for us will be difficult in some ways. Missing family and friends will be the toughest thing. But I think it will be good to grow for a little bit.
Anyways, I will be reporting in Mid-Late Feb. Kate will probably be here a while with trying to wrap up things here.
More to come, but just wanted to let you guys know.
Anyone know any tri coaches in the DC area?

Pass the workout
Monday, January 7, 2008
Fine, go ahead

Ran with my friend Dan yesterday and am now considering the Grandma's full meal deal. My apologies, Gilby, I will take a big ol bite.....
It all depends on what my coach says - and no matter what I will not be winning any awards. T and I were talking last night about going up TH eve, renting a place, big bike ride Sat and the marathon Sun.
Anyone interested? Registration opens (1/2 as well) on 6/17.

HR Monitor
I got a heart rate monitor for Christmas and I've never used one before. Do you guys wear yours for every workout? Also, I'm wondering if you wear them in the pool, I swam today but didn't wear it because I wasn't sure.
Happy Training.
Happy Training.
